The Importance of Goals in you life.

Goals are very vital in everybody’s everyday life. Even if you were not involved in a business you would need goals. People in all walks of life need daily goals. If we didn’t have them we would have no reason or purpose. Just try for one day with not having something to accomplish for the day, see how miserable you feel at the end of the day.
The process of setting goals helps you choose where you want to go in life and why you want it. By knowing precisely what you want to achieve, you know where you have to concentrate your efforts. You will be more focused and will be less likely to get distracted by the daily events we all experience. You will have the excitement and energy to go after them.
Do you make yourself a daily to do list? If you don't make a list how do you know what you want to accomplish for the day?

Are Your Beliefs Serving you Today?

Today I have spent some time looking at my beliefs that have been truly running my life. I/we are so full of beliefs that we have gained over the years. Attitudes, opinions, ideas and conditioning, we are so full of what we think we know. We often think, “Don’t tell me anything new. (I have heard people say : I know what I know and little do they know.) I have my own beliefs together and don’t you dare to try to shatter them because this is what I have based my whole life on.” Pretty closed minded.. We live with a set of beliefs we may call religion, politics, or about other people. These beliefs can become limitations. I have identified some of these beliefs that are not serving me today and I am in the process of making the necessary changes. Once you identify and declare a false belief you have to do something about it. This is one of the reasons we don’t take the time and effort because when we do, we have to get busy , get out of our comfort zone and make the changes necessary.
How about you? Are your current beliefs serving you or do you need to re-evaluate and make changes?? You will be amazed at the results so take that step.

Do you feel there are somethings about you that needs to be rejected?

We have all bought into the lie that what we have or haven't done in the past, what we have or don't have determines if we are complete.
What this means is that we have set up a picture of how we think we should be in our own mind. This is based on your conditioning, many times during childhood, by your family, friends, religion and society. The worst part of this is that you will never be able to live up to these pictures, images, models, standards or concepts that you have in your mind. You have been tricked into believing that you are incompetent, inadequate, insecure, bad, evil, stupid, clumsy, unworthy, not as good as,etc. You are identifying with some concept in your mind that has convinced you that you are not complete and that you need to be more or better.
The same thought process you used to come to this determination continues to keep you convinced that you are not complete, there is something missing in or of you. Until you chose to change these thought processes and patterns you will continue to feel incompetent, inadequate, insecure, bad, evil, stupid, clumsy, unworthy, not as good as,etc.

Reasons You May Not Be Finishing What You Start

Reasons You May Not Be Finishing What You Start By Sharon Michaels
I saw this information and agreed with it..good information

Have you ever begun a task and never finished it? Have you started something that could make you money and found yourself losing interest in it? Is there a project sitting on your desk or around the house that needs closure?

We've all lost interest in things, that's normal. It's when we make a habit of losing interest in the same thing or the same types of things that we should be begin looking for underlying reasons.

If you are a woman in business who has made a habit of not finishing what you start, could it be one of these seven reasons?

1. Bored with the task. Are you bored because the task isn't producing the results you expected? Do you feel it's too easy and not a challenge or may be it's not relevant in your life or career at this time? Boredom often occurs when you're not challenged physically or emotionally. Is it time to broaden your skill level or change what you're currently doing?

2. Distracted by something more important or exciting. Distraction is probably the number one reason we don't finish what we begin. A better or more exciting offer or opportunity comes along and we simply leave the task and walk away. Is this lack of focus hurting your business or your self-esteem? Is it time to refocus on your goals?

3. It wasn't important to us personally. Sometimes we're handed a job or task that just isn't important to us - we don't have a vested interest in it. If you can't "own" a project or task emotionally, it's easy to give up out of boredom or frustration.

4. It's too difficult or out of our skill level. When we're out of our skill level we can feel uncomfortable or inept and that often leads to frustration. Is it time to call in someone who is more skilled to take over the task? Is it time to learn new skills?

5. It's uncomfortable so you keep avoiding it. Avoidance happens because something we should be doing makes us emotionally, physically or spiritually uncomfortable. If you are consistently avoiding the same task or type of tasks over an extended period, it's time to ask yourself what exactly you are avoiding. Is it the task itself or the payoff the task will produce?

6. It's not what we set out to do in the first place. When someone else's excitement or "emergency" becomes our task or project, it can seem like a burden or a never-ending chore. Is it time to evaluate the situation and talk with others about your dissatisfaction?

7. Too many irons in the fire. This one is HUGE! We begin too many tasks, chores or projects all at the same time and we don't seem to have the time or energy to finish any of them. Do you consistently have too many irons in the fire? Too many tasks and too little time creates wasted time, disorganization and frustration. Is it time to whittle down your to-do list and prioritize your tasks in order of importance? Is it time to make a commitment to yourself not to begin a new task until the previous one is finished?

Finishing what you start leads to healthier self-esteem, more self-confidence in your ability to succeed and an overall feeling of self-satisfaction.

If you have a pattern of not finishing what you begin, it's time to ask yourself why. The really good news: Change begins one "aha" moment at a time. You have the power to change what's not working into habits that are more empowering and successful.

Self Developement

Well I see it has been a while since I last posted.
Today I want to address a subject that is very important to me. It is something that is available to all of us. We just need to be aware that there are some changes we can make in our personal lives that will benefit us in many ways.
This subject is also referred to self improvement. To me the two terms are inter-changeable.
I am a big fan of Dr. Joe Rubino and Dr. Robert Anthony. Dr. Rubino got me started in a journey to improve my self image. He has a great workbook that you can use that will help you in accomplishing this.
Now don't feel bad or embarrassed that you have issues with your self image or self assurance. Dr. Rubino shares that 85% of all of the people in the world at one time or other experience discomfort in this area.
Dr. Robert Anthony shares in his books and audios that we all have a power within all of us. This power is our sub-conscious mind. It is a part of our mind that we tend to not utilize.
I am going to go for now. I will be back soon and share more information with you on how you too can make changes in YOU and the many benefits of those changes.
