Thoughts for Today-Self talk.

I have been thinking about the fall season. Usually time is spend raking leaves and general cleaning up of plants that have gone dormant preparing for the winter months.
I applied the same concept to my mind giving thought to some of the things I have been saying to myself and I needed to do some cleaning out. It is very important how we talk to ourselves. So often it is easy to say negative things to ourselves. The subconscious mind is very receptive to what we tell it. It doesn't determine if something is true or not, it just accepts what we send it. With that in mind, to continue to have a good healthy strong self image we need to say positive to and about ourselves.
At times I find myself making a small mistake and say to me "Oh you are soo dumb" and then I realize what I said..I wouldn't acccept that remark from someone else why accept it from me? This is just a small example of how we sabatoge our self confidence and image.
Think about it..do you find yourself doing this??

Who is the Arkansas Mentor?

The Arkansas Mentor is Frances Maxwell and she would like to share some information regarding her life’s journey.
She is a registered nurse who has worked in the surgical area of the medical arena. Several years ago she realized that she was not attaining many of the financial goals she had set for herself. She was nearing retirement so started looking at the options available. She became interested in the network marketing industry as a possible vehicle to change her financial status. With that goal in mind she got involved in a number of companies without the success she expected. Although she was unsuccessful she had a very strong belief that this is where she needed to continue her search.
She took early retirement from Nursing as a result of a profound hearing loss but continued her quest for the right company.
After several encounters with some more companies she was introduced to NHT Global International. She was drawn to the business model, products and the international vision the company had. Joe Garcia was her sponsor, coach, mentor, and teacher and supplied the support needed to develop the skills she needed to become a successful business woman. She needed to change her mindset from employee to entrepreneur mindset, Joe guided her in material to help her be successful in this change and many others. She surrounded herself with successful leaders, people who had gone before her and had successful business, learning the skills necessary to be one of them. With persistence, daily doing those little things on a consistent basis, she has been able to overcome the financial “Fixed Income” of the retired by having in one week an income of $13,000.00
She is a member of the Steamteam, which was founded by Joe Garcia, and is one of the largest and fastest growing organization of NHT Global. She has done several Leadership trainings, was part of a webinar presentation with 3 other women called the Power of Women and recently was part of a presentation on Wellness.
.
Frances is also a member of NAPW. The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) is one of the most exclusive and rapidly growing associations of female executives, professionals, and entrepreneurs in the United States. We span almost every industry, including health and medicine, education, advertising and public relations, manufacturing, publishing, communications, entertainment, law, and more.
Frances has 75 yrs of life experiences and would like the opportunity to share them with others
