There are some questions you should ask yourself before you take action to start a home based business because to be successful you will make a commitment to do what is required of you.

3 Key Points to Consider Before Starting an Internet Business

1. Can You Work at Home? You will need an appropriate space as well as a computer & an online connection - this also amounts to the start -up investment in your business.
   
   If you are still employed you will be able to start part time and when income meets or is over your income from the Job and/or above you may consider leaving your job and your business can then be full time .

2. Is your desire great enough? Do you have discipline & have you made that committment?
   
   If you don't have the desire, discipline & commitment to make a difference for yourself, it's likely that you won't be very successful with your own online business. Do you have the staying power to work your business 3-5 years. That when faced with the challenges you don’t quit, that you have a powerful why?

          Do you know how you want you life to be like? Have goals, dreams?

3. Do You Have Unrealistic Expectations?
   
   Many people seem to think that having an online business is a quick & easy way to generating massive online wealth but the opposite is true. Some think just by the virtue of having a business that by some magic it is successful without them putting out any effort.
   It is entirely possible that you could make an online fortune, applying your self and a lot of work, creativity & drive - there is no magic bullet that will create instant wealth so if you aren't in it for the long haul perhaps you should consider whether this business model is for you.

Think about if you were going to open a restaurant, would you expect that the restaurant would be full of customers every  day from day one? NO, you have to build your business by good service, food, atmosphere so your customers recommend it to their friends, family, co workers, etc.Word of mouth is the best marketing tool we have. Two Questions?

“Can I?” or “ How Can I?”

Have you discovered the difference in these two questions? Many times it is what and how we say things that makes a question more powerful than another one.

“Can I?” When we give some thought to this question how does it make you feel? Does it make you feel empowered and ready to take action? Do you feel and experience hesitation and doubt, that may not even try because it probably won’t work. Also that I am asking someone permission to do whatever, if it is ok, should I do this??

How about if we change that to “How Can I”? 

When I ask myself this question. This problem has an answer.  I start thinking of all the different ways that I can do this thing. That there are many different ways to do somethings. One needs to just find some of these ways and  do some of them and see what the results are. If the results aren’t what was desired, I can use one of the other options. This kind of action and thinking  will stimulate one to come up with more ideas, increases the thinking capacity  and become more creative. Always moving forward and expanding, growing in knowledge and experiences.   Growing and becoming a better person is the goal. If one doesn’t continue to grow we will regress. No growth leads to regression,  that we do not stay in one place, stable in our growth. It is regress or grow, no in between.
